My name is Andy Georgiades and welcome to my blog!

This is not just another site for sci-fi “fans.” I created it for people that share my taste in science-fiction - but also enjoy activities such as going to the theatre, the symphony, and museums.

Many sci-fi fans have a wide appreciation for the arts and I count myself in this group. Gene Roddenberry himself once said that many Star Trek fans are doctors, lawyers and engineers, not just teenagers or college students that like to watch space battles and aliens with bumpy heads.

I take “Space Seed” as seriously as King Lear.  Just as I would encourage any reader of the Narnia series to read the books in publication order, I would advise newcomers to the Star Wars films to view the episodes in production order. I think great art can be found in comics and Caravaggio.
